Using the service

Code-X lets you submit source code for automated review. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, and you are responsible for the security of your credentials.

No guarantee of correctness

Reviews are generated by an AI system and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that reviewed code is secure, correct, or free of defects. Recommendations must be reviewed by a qualified developer before any production use.

Acceptable use

You may not submit code you do not have the right to submit, use the service to review malware intended for unauthorised distribution, or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security controls. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.

Subscription plans

Free and paid plans have different monthly review limits, code-size limits, and feature sets as described on our Pricing page. We may adjust plan limits from time to time.

Delivery policy

Code-X is a digital service - no physical goods are shipped. Access to paid plan features is delivered electronically and activated automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed by our payment processor (PayFast), which is typically immediate. If your plan does not update within a few minutes of a successful payment, contact code-x@newgenit.ai with your payment confirmation and we will resolve it promptly.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard. Cancelling stops all future billing immediately - no further charges will be made. Your plan features and any remaining monthly review credits stay active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. We do not require notice periods, and there are no cancellation fees.

Refund policy

Subscription fees are billed in advance for each monthly billing period and are non-refundable once a billing period has started, including for partial/unused periods following a mid-cycle cancellation or downgrade. Add-on review credit packs are non-refundable once granted to your account. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after cancellation was confirmed), contact code-x@newgenit.ai and we will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate. This policy does not limit any statutory refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account and data at any time, subject to our Data Retention Policy.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of AI-generated recommendations.
