Privacy Policy

Ownership of your code
You own the source code you submit to Code-X. We do not claim any ownership interest in it, and we do not publish it publicly.
How submitted code is used
Submitted code is sent to your configured AI provider solely to generate your review report. It is stored encrypted at the application layer. We do not use your submitted code to train any model unless you explicitly authorise it.
Visibility of reports
Reports are private by default and visible only to you and members of your organisation. You may create a secure, temporary share link to give a specific person read-only access to a single report. Share links are revocable at any time and expire automatically.
Data retention
Reports are retained according to your plan's retention period. You may delete any of your own reviews at any time; deletion removes or anonymises related data according to our retention rules. See our Data Retention Policy for details.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, hashed password.
- Submitted code and review reports, encrypted at rest.
- Usage data: submission counts, timestamps, and audit events for security purposes.
- Standard technical data: IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention.
Third-party processors
We use a configurable AI provider to generate reviews and an email provider to deliver transactional email (verification, password reset, report delivery). These providers process data only as needed to perform these functions.
